Phoenix Security @ Infosec Europe 2024 Session Overview

New regulations and recommendations from the NCSC on Secure by Design and IoT protection have reshaped the cybersecurity landscape in recent years. The proactive measures from CISA, including Secure by Design principles, clean Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs), and the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog, underscore the urgency of adapting to rapid attacker response times, which have shrunk from 12 to just 3 days. Patching and updating cycles are struggling to keep pace.

This talk will delve into the current threat landscape, highlighting the most exploited vulnerabilities and discussing methodologies to stay ahead of attackers in application security and vulnerability management.
