Brief Description:

Risk and Opportunity in Cyber: A Different View to Manage Risk and Attack Surface

Join us on October 11, 2023, at 5 PM GMT for an in-depth online webinar featuring Erhan Temurkan, Director of Information Security and Club CISO member. Renowned for his engineering acumen and software development roots, Erhan will guide us through a pioneering discourse on digital supply chains, surface management, and cybersecurity risk. This live event will be streamed on LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter—because good advice should never be restricted to just one platform.

Event Topics:

  • Software vs Infrastructure: Breaking down the traditional silos to understand how software and infrastructure risks intersect and interact.
  • Focusing on ‘So What’: Moving beyond the technical jargon to pinpoint what matters for your business.
  • Risk Instead of Vulnerabilities: Why fixing vulnerabilities doesn’t necessarily mean you’re fixing risks—and what to do about it.

Session Highlights:

  • Risk and Opportunity in Cyber: Learn how to discern good and bad risks because not all risks are equal.
  • Don’t Fix That: Understand why some vulnerabilities might not need immediate attention and how to prioritize effectively.
  • Not All Risk is Risk: Erhan offers a fresh perspective on evaluating and managing your attack surface.

Key Takeaways:

  • Fixing risk is not fixing vulnerabilities: Learn the difference between perceived and actual risks.
  • Focusing on what matters requires businesses to get involved: It’s not just a tech issue; it’s a business strategy.
  • Each audience has different requirements: Whether you’re a developer, a CISO, or a business executive, this talk will offer insights tailored to your role.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from Erhan Temurkan, a seasoned professional who brings an engineer’s precision and a strategist’s vision to cybersecurity. Mark your calendars for October 11, 2023, at 5 PM GMT. It promises to be an event that’s as engaging as it is enlightening—a cybersecurity masterclass that you can attend without a suit.

So get ready to toss those generic cybersecurity checklists out the window and tune in for real wisdom. After all, in the words of Erhan, “If you’re not assessing risk, you’re taking it.”
