Kenna is being retired. Your risk-based vulnerability management isn’t.

Cisco Kenna Security is reaching end-of-life. Cisco announced on December 10, 2025 that Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna Security) will reach end of sale on March 10, 2026, with final support ending June 30, 2028.
Kenna defined the second generation of risk-based vulnerability management — normalizing findings, enriching with threat intelligence, and moving teams beyond CVSS-only prioritization. But modern attack surfaces have changed.
Today’s risk is code-to-cloud: applications, open-source dependencies, CI/CD pipelines, containers, cloud identity, runtime exposure, and the relationships between them. Without reachability, attribution, and remediation intelligence, risk scoring alone becomes reporting — not Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM).
Phoenix Security is built as a modern ASPM and unified vulnerability management platform, designed to replace Kenna while extending what worked. It unifies application security, vulnerability management, cloud exposure, and exploitability context to help DevSecOps teams reduce real, reachable risk — including prioritization and cloud misconfiguration remediation based on exposure, not noise.
Our proven Kenna migration playbook enables a fast, guided, and low-risk transition to CTEM-ready vulnerability management, without breaking existing programs or KPIs.
